This is the soundtrack release for an indie Virtual Boy inspired game called Yan's World. Most of the tracks listed were sporadically composed from 2016 to around 2020. Currently, both with a lack of funding for the title and fundamental game design issues, the project is on an indefinite hiatus. If the project were to resurface (and hopefully it does) it more than likely would be an entirely different looking and playing project, with potentially a different soundtrack on a different soundchip. As a result, it would be a terrible waste if these tracks went to waste, rotting away on a SDD. To that end, we see fit to release what was written for the project so that these songs can see the light of day.

The soundtrack as a whole was composed mainly in 0CC-Famitracker, using 5 N-163 Channels and a Noise Channel to imitate the Virtual Boy soundchip as closely and accurately as possible. We hope you enjoy what was composed for the project, and look forward to any potential developments in the future with the game as a whole.
